A couple of years ago, First Church in Northampton, MA, was thinking about selling their Tiffany window. It looks like instead they might get some financial help to repair it, and another window:

If you the readers have time, please send a note to this church telling them Tiffany did NOT personally make their window.....

I ask people when I make presentations here in Michigan how many cars did Henry Ford himself make....and of course the answer is NONE....he was the boss, the company owner!!

I always take along the book about Clara Driscoll with several photos of women, and men , working in the studio....but don't see LCT working on any windows....

That's quite possibly the journalist rather than the church.

But I have had churches tell me that some window was made by Tiffany himself (because it is post 1915 and signed Louis C. Tiffany in his script) and some other window was "only" made by his studio (because it is post 1900 and pre 1918 and signed TIFFANY STVDIOS). So blame Tiffany!

Ford built at least 1 car "While working as an engineer for the Edison Illuminating Company in Detroit, Henry Ford (1863-1947) built his first gasoline-powered horseless carriage, the Quadricycle, in the shed behind his home.'

The Tiffany window of First Churches of Northampton, MA has been restored (by Stained Glass Resources of Hampden, MA) and reinstalled, and they are having a celebration this Saturday (24 March):
